The Kodra family has been cooperating in the field of tourism for eight years, providing hotel services, , Restaurants and Bars in the museum city of Gjirokastra. The Kodra Family owns and manages the Kodra Hotel, the Praga Hotel, the Kodra Bar and the Kodra Restaurant. Hotel Kodra was built in 2015 based on the structure of the traditional house of the Kodra Family.
Hotel Prague was built in 2021 preserving every detail and characteristic of traditional Gjirokastra houses. Hotel Prague is built on the traditional Kodra family home. The history of the building is 200 years old and dates back to the first house of the Hoxha family. The architecture of the house consists of a mixture of Ottoman and Martian style. Every original detail has been preserved during the restoration of the building. Several murals dating back 100 years have been unearthed on the premises of the Prague Hotel. In the premises of Hotel Praga, tradition and modernity are combined, offering comfort to our guests.
